Cai Guo-Qiang, a Chinese artist who makes paintings with gunpowder and designed the big fireworks ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, has now finally made his dream come true.

His dream was to make a 500 meter (1640 feet) high explosive ladder that connects earth with heaven. After 3 failed attempts the 4th one is spot on.
