In a time and place, where we are

Able to clone ourselves — rather

We can create avatars that can

Assume and/or hold our memories

Or sensations such as pain and fear..

They were created with the intention

Of being the ultimate “personal” assistant.

They can be uploaded with certain skills:

To be our housekeepers, trainers, groomers,

Assistants, etc. The project was called “Gemini”

As they were our twin in an androgenic shell,

Made to our exact proportions and fully adjustable.

As time went on and technology improved

We started upgrading more personal features

So they looked like our biological twins too,

Allowing them to sub-in from time to time..

So how to tell us apart? The avatars have a UV

Tattoo of their generation: II, III, IV, etc.

As a true Gemini, born in June, I have a

“II” tattoo on the nape of my neck as

A symbol of my pride and for all intents and

Purposes, of my identity — so am I the

One or am I the Clone, can you tell?
