I Create Text Portraits Of Movies Posters Using The Full Scripts Of The Same Movies.
I always liked the “text portrait” technique.
It’s very simple, for who knows the basics of graphic design, yet visually effective.
As I often like to dig into movies scripts and also know chunks of my favourite movies by heart, I thought it would have been cool to create movie posters out of…the movies scripts themselves.
I usually work on the movie scripts available online, although I always proofread the script by watching the movie and correct or add some lines when necessary.
Although the best result is given by thick and solid font, sometimes I choose a font that better suits the mood of the movie.
All the images go under some modification beforehand, to enhance the colors and the contrasts.
