You may not be very familiar with the DS Automobile tuning company, but that shouldn’t get in the way of checking out their work. Such is the case with the BMW M4 in front of you, created by the Swiss in collaboration with Hamann Motorsport.
The car received almost the entire package that you can get from the German tuner, going from the aero parts to engine tuning. We’ll go into detail in a minute, but in the meantime, if you were feeling sorry that you can’t get a BMW M4 GTS, this tuned M4 is basically the closest thing to it.
Probably the most significant upgrade and the one that most people will be interested in is the piggyback kit for the engine. The guys from Hamann can take your car up to 517 PS and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque with something as simple as switching a couple of buttons. The folks over at DS Automobile, however, claim that their version has even more power, 530 PS to be more precise. How they achieved those figures it’s unknown for the moment, but if their claims are true, we’re suspecting a new exhaust.
