Suspending Light Within Photography

The images I’ve included here are from an Exhibition I’m participating in shortly called “Suspending Light within Photography” in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at the Artemis Art Gallery in the Publika Mall on the 19-22nd August. All the included images here have a “blue dreaming” theme… I prefer to show images within the one theme, giving the exhibition a more personal feel. I use both Nikon D800 and Sony Alpha 7r cameras and work extensively in Capture-One, Photomatix and Photoshop.

Futuresight photography is me, Alan Dougans….born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, qualified as an engineer and working in project management in the energy industry. We have been lucky enough to travel the world in this industry and live in many locations. Home is now Perth, Western Australia. I like to think my photography is taken to another level and becomes more artwork than simple image capture, I describe it as trying to recreate what I actually saw in my mind when taking the photograph, using the word “imagineering”…..

All images will be available for sale as limited and signed framed editions. Also for sale will be a limited run of 10 books including all these images and those from a previous exhibition also in KL.
