Endless mountain peaks covered in the morning mist, clouds revealing the sunlight on the wavy hills, they remind me why Romania remains a land of wilderness, where l am privileged to nurture my love for photography.
I used to dream of places on the other side of the world and for a while, I had forgotten the beauty of my own country. Now as I grow up, it is engraved upon my heart that sometimes, a wonderful journey can be only a mile away, and what seems mundane and “non-exotic” can turn into something extraordinary.
Here are a few photos that show, very little still, what Romania’s nature can offer to the soul.
