When Croissant meets Donut (“Cronut”), Ramen meets Burger (“Ramen Burger”) or Pho meets Dumpling (…”Phumpling”), you get the best of both worlds. The same goes for our shop3xu “Matchbox-Card”.
Inspired by the elements of greeting cards, gift boxes, and miniatures, these tiny “cards” are hand-crafted from real matchboxes and hand colored individually to give each of them that very personalized feel. But the best part has to do with the connection between the cover and the hidden message inside each box, which creates a sweet little surprise for the person who opens them.
Tiny cards for your loved ones…
… with a little extra humour
Simple & fun messages that can brighten someone’s day
Proposing doesn’t have to be so difficult
Geek mode ON
Tiniest little letters!
Say sorry in the cutest way

Share on FacebookThose are great ideas and they already have my idea cauldron brewing. Thanks for sharing!
My uncle had a match box cover that protected it from being crushed in his pocket. It was made of spring steel coated in celluloid. On one side was a picture of a country Dunny with four chaps queued up outside. The caption read Where a Full House Beats Four of a Kind (Think of Poker Rules, normally Four of a Kind beats a Full House) The other side of the match box protector also had a picture of a Country Dunny. The caption read The Job’s not done until the Paper Work is finished.
So clever...think of opening a matchbox to see a tiny bed, all cozy and nice. The potential quotes for the closed box top are limitless.
