Uh..us Gen X claim all of these. The Chronic album came out in 1992 so unless you were listening to it in 2nd grade HAVE A SEAT
Or we could stop gatekeeping and just let people enjoy whatever they want.
Load More Replies...You need to take that 85 all the way back to the 70’s, at least 78 or 79
I LOVE Paul mccartney. Actually, I love the rolling stones too. I'm definitely not old though (or at least I like to tell myself that)😁
bro i was born in 94 and Paul mccartney and the stones. are infinitely better then the trash music of today.
There's lots of great music out there. There's so many different types I think it's unfair to say that all music today is trash.
Load More Replies...I enjoyed it a bit. Tried making a react video. But the cringe throughout, mostly from me, makes me hesitant to actually upload it.
I haven´t seen the halftime show yet, and I´m taking all of this out of context. Let me just say, what the heck is happening.
"I've got a blue flag hanging from the backside but only on the left side, yeah that's the crip side." Snoop Dogg - Drop it like it's hot
Load More Replies...I actually thought it was funny that he was wearing the Rams colors and they won.... Is it just me?
A lot of people were happy to see a whole lineup of grand singers and rappers who performed some of their old and well-known songs. Some of the performers went to great lengths to deepen this feeling of nostalgia even more. Rapper 50 Cent recreated his video of the song “In Da Club” by appearing on the stage upside down. This action of his became one of the most talked about and discussed things about the performance and inspired some funny reactions online.
And people still complained. The national anthem wasn't even playing. So this tells you it had nothing to do with the anthem.
I read that Dre put a lot of his own money into the show so that Eminem could take the knee and the league couldn’t do a thing about it.
He was kneeling while Dre was playing a piano piece in remembrance of Tupac, but let the butt hurt begin.
I'll never dislike eminem though. He gives no f**ks. But he is still a decent human being
Yes, but they reportedly tried to stop him initially. His counter was "fine, I want Kaepernick there", to which they said no. So he said "F*ck all of y'all" and did it anyway.
Load More Replies...May someone please explain to me the thing with the knee? Non-American here. Answers highly appreciated.
Kaepernick kneeled while the national anthem was playing to demonstrate against police bruality against POC/for equal rights for POC. He lost his job as a player in the NFL for this but became a BLM icon.

What is interesting to notice is that the main performers of the event were only hip-hop artists. One of them was Eminem, who, during his performance, kneeled on one knee. This also didn’t go without notice. It is known that kneeling has an important meaning after former NFL quarterback and civil rights activist Colin Kaepernick did this in 2016 during the national anthem. This way the man expressed his views against police brutality and racial inequality. This year, Eminem made sure that Kaepernick’s action wouldn’t be forgotten.
No he would have retired to somewhere nice with his money.
Load More Replies...It seems that none of the smallest details slipped past the eyes of people online. Having in mind that a lot of the artists have been working on their careers for years, people were curious to know their age, especially those who were worried about 50 Cent’s decision to start his performance hanging upside down. Despite various reactions, concerns, and innocent attempts to lightly ridicule the performance, many agree that this was one of the best Super Bowl halftime shows.
That’s absolutely true and ultimately hilarious!
Load More Replies...and here too the girl feels obliged to show skin (sorry to talk about this in a post about good memories, but it pisses me off)
"The girl'?!!? She's a grown-ass woman, a LEGEND and an icon and she can wear whatever she damn well pleases.
Load More Replies...Ikr? Lol I'm kinda glad we got a free pass in the boomers vs millennials, though.
Load More Replies...Whose idea was it to sign letters to generations? I can never keep them straight and I don't even remember my own letter... Can't we just say the 90s generation or the 00 generation? Also, I think it should be based on when you start college, not when you are born. When I think of my generation, I think of what happened from high school to college years.
This doesn't make any sense. When you start college depends on when you were born.
Load More Replies...Gen X is the same age as most the rappers on there, they are Gen X so we were the first to listen and support their growth. We made their careers. Makes no sense how any other gens could not respect that.
This sentence has been around since your mom was a high school freshman
They didn’t offer the specialty surgeon of beats so he created his own curriculum and courses and graduated summa cum laude.
My family was hoping for some even older artists, but they were satisfied with what they got.
Hahahah that's me lol except my kids know all them and Thier music so it was pretty tight ...long long over due
did they really think eminem of all people would listen to demands?
Charlie Kirk...fascist P.O.S.... 'fraid o learnin', ...'fraid o girls, ...REAL 'fraid o black folks...
not to mention Prince - remember that guitar shadow?
Load More Replies...Sexual anarchy 😂 I’d love to bring them to a strip club in Australia for one night ❤️
Love him but how does he think these colors match or coordinate? His outfit bugs the beejeezus out of me. Hahaha
I like it more than pants half way down trend
Load More Replies...Oh you didn't know the real Dean Martin - He usually could not stand up!
Load More Replies...Kanye has seniority and a much more impressive portfolio of crazy.
Load More Replies...I’m gonna stop making fun of him. I’m done with it. I feel like he’s the next ‘Britney shaves head’ meltdown kind of thing.
Anti-Maskers sayin "HEY---if Kanye be maskin' so will I !!!" ok...sarcasm...sorry....
Oh my gosh! I was totally thinking what about Prince’s epic halftime show???
Load More Replies...Make the stage a bit bigger and you got yourself a mini LA of sorts
My sister was like “who’s Dr. Dree?” pronouncing it with a long E and BRO I WHEEZED
I am a 2000 kid and I am surely jumping up with my parents. Have most of the songs on my playlist.
Really? You should look into how long ago some of these guys were puttin sht out. But I guess everything was new the first time YOU heard it.
I am proud to say that none of this made any sense to me. A little like the very game where you just have to run across a long line holding a ball, not even touch it down and they call it a touchdown.
The word you're looking for is 'football'. It's the game where you control the ball with your...hands. That not-at-all-round thing that looks like a large poop? Yes...yes that's the ball. No, we don't want to change the name to handpoop.
Load More Replies...I enjoyed the halftime show. One of the best yet, aside from Prince of course!
I really don't like the music of Dogg, Dre or 50. And I know that the NFL put on a black line up to refute accusations of racism during Black Lives Matter and the taking the knee controversy. But even though their motivations were all wrong, the result was a solid line up of extremely successful and popular black musicians who deserve the stage every bit as much as the endless sea of whiteness that usually occupies the halftime show. So kudos to them.
I was in high school at the height of Snoop and Dre in the 90s. I didn't watch this garbage cuz I still remember all the violent gangster horsesh*t they promoted, but now they're a sanitized mainstream halftime show, and y'all are dancing around cheering? Stop and look up WHY Tupac wasn't there. I lived through gang bangers coming on campus and shooting and stabbing kids, blaring "nuthin but a g thang". thank goodness I was more of a metalhead in black and didn't hafta worry about wearing the wrong colors and maybe catching some metal.
There are plenty of rock songs that talk about violence and killing people and objectifying women. But go off. I grew up listening to both genres.
Load More Replies...i loved the halftime show and i feel the halftime show will become a sitcom later
I respectfully disagree that this halftime show was remotely good. I am solidly an Xennial and all rap is a lesser form of music. The show was a budget performance (I.e. dancers in cardboard boxes…I mean did they bring their homes with them or something?) and I am massively disappointed in the NFL
Stupid as usually. Not catering to entertainment but sticking it ta whoever gets them. Get rid of the games and 1/2 time it's all crap.
