Artists often invoke admiration. Their works make people not believe that humans can create the beauty of high value. It is unimaginable for many people to create something similar to the original. However, sculptors were able to make it. The following are some of the statues and sculptures that amaze you.

Bruno Walpoth, an Italian sculptor, has a talent for creating sculptures that haunt visitors to his exhibitions. How could it not be this time? His works look like a human being alive and has a soul. He managed to catch the sad expression in someone’s eyes and make it look like an in-depth contemplative view.

Working through wood media is as tricky as other materials. It takes ‘delicacy’ to make it look like ‘human skin.’ Each wooden statue he made would take two months. Usually, Bruno sculpted it to the size of a human being, with various movements and shapes.

Bruno explains that he created the sculptures made of lime or walnut that emerged from meetings and discussions with models on his web site. On a 1: 1 scale, the bodies, lines, and shapes of several thin young men and many beautiful women. Even if Walpoth stimulates concrete reproduction of parts of the body, such as shoulders or ankles, successful results give him satisfaction. He is not interested in creating a hyper-realistic image of the people standing in front of him: the model serves as an envelope for implied projections. Facial features and body shape according to the model.

His works’ concept is an impression of intimate isolation, which is further enhanced by its unique beauty. The sublime aesthetic in form and expression, which is less reminiscent of the general idea of beauty than in the early Renaissance and characterized by humble and innocent elegance, also denotes distance.
