Her work received a major burst of attention at the 2026 Golden Globes, when Wicked director Jon M. Chu discovered Nerdbead on Instagram and commissioned two custom beaded brooches depicting Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, the stars of his film. The miniature portraits were made using approximately 10,000 micro beads, turning Pisani’s painstaking craft into an unexpected red-carpet statement.
