Connor Manning was strolling down the street when he stumbled upon a kitten so cute, he simply couldn’t walk past without showing it some love. To his surprise though, the feeling was mutual and it blossomed into an unexpected friendship.

Connor documented the encounter with his affectionate new friend and kept posting live-updates on his Twitter account as it developed into one of the most heartwarming stories we’ve seen in a while.

Scroll below to experience it for yourself and don’t forget to put some napkins close, because you might need them by the end.

Wait...what? She stayed? But he was allergic to her. I'm glad he kept such a lovely fur bubba but does he now need a daily piriton?

My bf is/was sorta allergic to cats too but after several years of being near them, he doesn't have it as bad anymore. So it might depend on the person but he could build a tolerance to it over time or take meds for it.

The first cat my wife got out of college, she got approximately that way. There was a toddler and a six, maybe eight month old cat completely freaking out across the street -- the toddler was screaming in terror doing basically the HOME ALONE face, terrified by a tiny kitty who was hissing back at him. One person scooped up the terrified human, my wife scooped up the terrified kitty, petted it, and calmed it down. Naturally, the cat started following her. When they got to the major intersection, and my wife got worried about what would happen if she crossed the street with the cat following, she turned around and walked back home. Went back in, and told her roommate, "It followed me home, can we keep it?" When I started dating my wife, it became VERY clear that, if Boopsie didn't approve of me, Lis and I were not gonna happen. Fortunately, Boopsie liked me almost as much as Lis did, so Lis and I are married now. Boop's been gone for at least fifteen years, and I miss her still.

It's the name of a really sad play (1947) and movie (1951), that's where Panic referenced it from.
