You might have heard the 19th-century saying that ‘beauty is pain,’ but does that really mean you have to face a whole horde of problems just to look gorgeous? Unfortunately, for some folks, the answer is ‘yes,’ especially if they’ve undergone cosmetic procedures that went wrong.
That’s what happened to the people in this list who didn’t realize that their plastic surgery or beauty work could fail spectacularly and leave them worse off than they already were. You decide whether any of these cosmetic procedures were worth the money.

not to mention a belly button that looks like it has a hernia. i was told i would have a flat stomach and be very pleased with my results. my surgeon refused to refund me, pay for another surgeon to fix it and also does not even believe it needs to be revised. she feels she did a proper procedure. i disagree completely
Where do you think the skin goes when you get the fat underneath it sucked out? It's not a roller shade that goes ~vipppppp~ and retracts into your body when you pull on the little cord at the bottom.
Oh No
"Lip blushing is a cosmetic tattooing procedure that deposits soft, sheer pigment into the lips to enhance their natural color, shape, and definition. A technician uses a digital permanent makeup machine or a specialized handheld tool with tiny needles. The device deposits light layers of colored ink into the dermal layer of the lips." Yeah, no thanks, I'll use this non-painful, non-invasive, non-permanent procedure called "putting on lipstick".

Are These Extensions As Bad As I Think They Are?
I got these put in a week ago and this is what they look like. I went to a different person to get them taken out and she said it was some of the worst Work that she’s ever seen. My mom and friends were shocked when they saw it. I talked to the manager of the salon where I got them done and he said that it’s perfectly normal and that they’ll redo it if they want, but I’m not gonna get a refund. I don’t really wanna get it redone because I’m afraid they’ll just mess it up again But I don’t think I’m gonna be getting a refund so I don’t know what to do. This was $900.
I imagine one is supposed to NOT hold the hair up so the weave part is visible, though? XD If her hair was down over it, wouldn't this not be visible? I've never gotten extensions, so I am ignorant. The weave/stitching(???) does look absolutely shoddy, though.

I Never Thought Anyone Would See This Footage
My mother has had... a LOT of plastic surgery procedures over her life, and I've gotten dragged along to most of them as her ride home and hospital/recovery companion (basically taking care of her in the bougie recovery suites the surgeon has.) This person hasn't fully healed yet - she's still bruised, scabbed, and swollen from the procedure. She needs to let the surgery site fully heal - which takes MONTHS - before she can actually determine if the surgeon messed up or if she's not happy with the result. My mom went batshít crazy at her surgeon repeatedly because she "didn't look right" after her procedures - but she'd go nuts like a week after the surgery, when her skin and tissues were still swollen and healing XD
Most of these people looked just fine before they go some sort of surgery.
So many of them seem shocked, doesn't anyone look into things before they just do it?
