Thomas Romain is a French anime artist who lives in Tokyo. He's worked on various series including Space Dandy, Basquash!, and Aria, but his best ideas actually come from his kids' drawings. Working together in what he calls the Father And Sons Design Workshop, Thomas and his sons come up with all sorts of weird and wonderful anime drawings. Well, his kids actually come up with them, and then Thomas adds his professional touch to his kids' drawing ideas turning them into everything from steampunk doctors and snake fighters to cloud dwellers and sand golems. His doodles-turned-anime-characters are so good actually that we couldn't help ourselves but get a tiny bit jealous of nobody re-drawing our scribbles when we were little.

I enjoyed this story the most! Why ? Because I enjoyed it with my 12 yr old aspiring anime artist !!! We may glean some inspiration from the 7 year old !!!!

this is my most favorite :D Kids have amazing imagination,But this kid, clearly is a lot of levels up :D and well we all can see the father is talented, runs in the family XD so so soooo lucky! i cant even invent a monster or character that would pass my own eyes XD

This child is unbelievably talented. Dad is too. But the kid is awesome. Rare to see this much imagination and out-of-the-box thinking in children nowadays.

Weird that in all these comments no one seems to realize that it is not ONE son. The father works with his sons (plural) which is also depicted in the level of work by the boys. Anyway, really terrific work by all!
