Mysterious Street Artist Leaves Beautiful Typographic Messages On Snow-Covered Cars in NYC
“I believe everyone has an affinity for writing in the snow as a child. When most people grow up they lose the urge. I guess I just haven’t been able to shake it,” – that’s how New York-based street artist Faust explains why he has spent every winter for the last 4 years drawing beautiful typography and inspirational messages onto the hoods and windshields of snow-covered cars. The fittingly chosen quotes include phrases like “Cold as ice” or “Let it go” from Frozen.
Of course, anyone could draw on a snow-covered car with their fingers, but Faust’s impromptu street art pieces look like they’d be truly welcome surprises because of his flawless hand lettering. Though he was won prestigious art awards, he has nonetheless remained anonymous – despite his close work with big labels like Nike and Faberge, he still does unique artworks on the streets of New York as well.

That`s not typography - that`s gorgeous calligraphy with fluorishes. In my opinion, typography involves type and fonts!
So mysterious that I'm sure boredpanda knows her/his email address as the artist made all the photos and sent out to sites like this one :D
And read .. can hardly read this but the positive thoughts are rejuvenating in a state that is mostly negative..Kindness is hard for some
I used to make smilies in the snow at random places when I lived in England. On walls, bins, cars. I hoped to cheer people up
That is some serious handwriting! I bet his/her parents are teachers! My mum is, and used to kick my a*s to write beautifully!
Both my parents are teachers too and not only my handwriting is terrible, I don't even hold the pend "properly". But I developed good drawing skills instead.

His name is right in the writing. Here's his website: http://faustnewyork.com/
Load More Replies...I appreciate the artistry but would be annoyed about my paint job.
How does that affect the paint job? Pretty sure they did it with their finger
