I Take Pictures With My Smartphone To Prove That It’s Not The Equipment That Matters
I'm Mounir 19 yo from Algeria and believe that for me photography was never about the materials. In the certain point, your are limited by what you got but you have to love the process not the outcome.
If you really want to do something, to create, then just do it. No excuses and no crying about not having this or that.

I’m so inspired by you; as a 13 year old aspiring photographer (I know I seem young, but I’m quite proud of some of my pictures :D) I definitely don’t have equipment. But I use my smartphone, and this post just inspired me more!
you can show me some of them, i would really be glad to see your pictures
Load More Replies...I do not agree with this sensationalism on this subject that it is not important to have a camera to have good photos. What Mounir Belmokhtar wanted to demonstrate was that his creativity is not limited to one device camera. There is nothing too much in the images he produces, what is different there exposed is the practice and creative vision of it allied to an editing and image treatment suitable for your photo. When searching for a specific photograph, the equipment is a differential in achieving the goal considering dynamic range, lens sharpness, lens angulation level, high ISO performance, megapixels, etc. Therefore it is wise to know how to discern the concept of creativity and the limitation of photographic equipment.
thankyou thankyou !! :)

i didn't your comment , sorry for the late , for those pictures i used my Iphone 5S and i edit them with lightroom on computer , few of them where edited with my phone using Snapseed
Load More Replies...Great pics, but some of them would be even better with a shallower depth of field that you could not actieve on a phone...
The artistic eye is key, but as one gets to a higher level of creativity, equipment does add another few layers of depth and refinement. Your work is excellent anyway. Perhaps you will tinker with finer equipment down the road and also enjoy it.
Totally agree. Equipments are being developed not out of vain but out of artists' pursue of perfection.
Load More Replies...Amazing photos, but it's not the equipment that produces good photos. It's the editing. I could bet that these aren't the original versions (unedited) and that you edited them using a sophisticated software
Very nice! My husband also takes beautiful photos with his phone. However my snaps look very average. It takes an artistic eye!
Very nice, but how did you create the blurry slow shutter speed effect?
These are great. Too bad you wouldnt be able to print them on large canvases.
I absolutely love your pictures..! I take photos with my iPhone 6s, and my dad (photographer) is often quite impressed... ;)

Load More Replies...I love it. It is another pov. But,a little suggestions here, maybe you can use less filter. Since you photo already unique.
thankyou ,, yup i guess you are right , next time hope they will be better
Load More Replies...i see , if you have an old smartphone they maight be grainy as well ,, but never stop making photo
Load More Replies...There are a bunch of competitions aimed specifically at people who use their phones as cameras. It might be worth entering.
I also take zillions of photos on my iPhone 8 Plus and I think that some phones are much better than DLSR.
