Bringing Sketches To Life With Digital Magic: My 8 Creations
For a digital artist like me, getting those unique ideas for my images is one of the most important things. I see them in my dreams, when I read a magazine, or pretty much anywhere I go. When I get an idea, I need to sketch it out fast in my notebook so I won’t forget it.
Here you can see some of my projects with sketches I have drawn in my notebook. There are always some tweaks to the concept or the image itself, but my sketch and final image are often a one-to-one match.
In my notebook, there are many more similar sketches just waiting for their time to be created as a final image.

Leaving Home
I have been a professional photographer and digital artist for over 14 years. Before that, I did lots of graphics and content development. I have been using Photoshop for around 26 years.
My ideas come from various places, dreams, music, articles, and surroundings. I have tried to develop my own style to include my own photography and retouching background.
Running Out of Time
The time it takes to create one fully finished piece of artwork varies depending on the work. Sometimes I can finish a piece quickly in hours, but sometimes it takes days to get to the finalized image with all the aspects of the image just the way I like.
I think coming up with ideas is always the hardest part of the creative process. There are moments when I just don’t have many ideas, creative block, I might say. And I will try to push through that moment. I even wrote an article about that, which you can read here.
The Edge
I enjoy all the aspects of creating these images, from making the idea to photography, and retouching. But I also enjoy writing content and blogs to tell people where the idea came from and how the images were done.
I love telling stories. I try to tell my stories visually. I hope when people look at my images they stop and think about what the image is about and reflect on what they feel when they see the image.
