Your mom looks like princess Diana in the first picture. In the second I'm just amazed at how good she still looks! (Coming from me that's saying a lot because my mom looks great too, but dang yours has found the fountain of youth!)

Thank you! I know! She is going to be 80 in March but I don't think she looks older than 65! I think I get my young-looking genes from her. I'm 26 but people routinely think I'm 14 or 15.

My mom looks younger than her age as well, yes. However my grandma takes amazing care of herself. Only eats healthy foods and exercises every day.

This is where I see my son and his girlfriend in twenty years...now freshman in hs they have been close friends for five years, officially dating in love for six months... and no foreseeable end in sight! Even more, parents in both families are really good friends too- lots of common interests and shared core values. I know the odds are crazy slim, but I'm betting that we will be seeing them together for a long long time too

Yeah my wife and i first got together in school i think we went out for a couple of years, we split and left school and didn't see each other for about 9 years and she sent my mate a message on facebook (i dont have facebook) and he passed her number to me, i called and we went out and got steaming f****n drunk at a metal gig together and the rest is history, we have been married for 8 years now.

Thank you. Back then we had employers and dress codes. Unfortunately i have a long term illness and my hubby is also my carer but with no dress codes we can look how we want so we've been adding colour to our lives and he's been strutting his hawk for almost a decade!

My parents were divorced when I was six, I thought love was supposed to last forever, but I have a hard time believing it now.

I'm a fox lover as well. Divorce is hard on a family. particularly the children , but, not all couples are meant to be together, forever after . Love may have only been strong like to begin with , or a purely physical attraction . Goals change, life intrudes , but, you have to believe that the close to perfect mate is out there for you. I found him. You can too !

I liked live stuff. My folks have been married for 40 years and have hated each other the entire time. They only remained married to spite each other. I didn't know people people could like each other for very long. Now I'm with a neat person, and seeing things like this makes me think that there is love, and it can last.

It can. I’ve been with my husband 18 years. There are amazing times and s****y times. You have to work at it. But to stay with someone for spite is beyond me. I’m sorry you went through that and I’m so happy you’ve met someone wonderful, that can show you true love. Love that you deserve. X

I wish i could post a pic of my parents. The have been together for something around 30 years, have 4 childrens and a lot of plans for the future ! Same for my grand parents. My grand mother has loved her husband for more than 50 years, and she has been next to him for his ten years, as he was fighting Alzheimer. She was his angel, he would always call her name and smile at her, as he was losing it. I don't think I've ever seen a love that strong.
