A 37-year-old California man has been arrested after he was caught on video, creeping up behind a woman and sniffing her behind.

Calese Carron Crowder was out on parole for a string of offenses going back years—including one instance documented on video and posted to TikTok.

He is currently being held in custody with his bail set at $100,000 and scheduled to appear in court in a week’s time.

Burbank Police Department tracked Crowder to a Walmart in California’s San Fernando Valley and took him into custody.

Leading up to his arrest, they watched footage of Crowder loitering in a Nordstrom Rack outlet.

He had been skulking around the women’s clothing section and was then seen crouching down “in lewd behavior by inappropriately sniffing her buttocks,” a City of Burbankstatement reported.

“Given the nature of the behavior, officers made contact with the suspect and detained him for further investigation.”

Officials are expecting more victims to come forward with complaints

The communique noted a “documented history of similar arrests for lewd conduct in both Glendale and Burbank, dating back to 2021.”

The police department has since filed a single charge of loitering with intent to commit a criminal act, and indicated in a July 24 statement that the investigation was ongoing.

Officials have since also indicated that they expect more victims of Crowder’s harassment to come forward.

Crowder made it to TikTok when he was caught being a creep on video

@michaela.witter The ugly side of doing things solo as a woman even in an open public space. Stalking, harrassment, etc. has happened to me way too many times but this definitely ranks top 3 creepiest moments. Please be safe and attentive to your surroundings unlike myself. Unfortunately, as women we have to have all senses aware even in spaces we wouldnt think necessary #100solodateideas#solodateideas#womenproblems#menarescary♬ original sound – Michaela 🤍

Crowder last made the news in 2023, when 28-year-old Michaela Witter suspected him of following her around a Barnes & Noble outlet.

She decided to document the harrowing experience on video.

“It felt like anywhere I moved, he kept following me,” she recalled.

“So I recorded just in case he was trying to say anything or do anything to me, but I definitely did not expect him to do this.”

“I was so freaked out,” Witter’s account continued. “He was literally under me, so freaking close to me, so I decided to tell the front desk.”

Crowder was also arrested for peeping into a family home

Witter even confronted the man, asking him what he was doing, to which he claimed he was tying his shoelaces.

“Which he wasn’t,” Witter noted. “He was pretending to. His shoes were tied.”

KTLA reported Witter later saying: “A lot of women were very sympathetic because they have experienced this harassment from men and stalking.”

The outlet reported at the time that Crowder had been arrested on August 11 in Glendale, where he would later be caught exhibiting depraved behavior again.

On a Thursday, less than a week later (August 15), Crowder was arrested for peeping into a family home.

Police slapped him with a 60-day jail sentence but let him go shortly after on the condition that he register as a s*x offender.

When he failed to comply, he was locked up again, and authorities set his bail at $20,000.

Another woman accused him of stalking her daughter

Candace Horry, wife of former Los Angeles Lakers forward Robert Horry, weighed in with a grievance of her own after Witter’s TikTok revelation.

“This is so upsetting,” she complained.

“This man stalked my teenage daughter at our home over 10 years ago. He went to jail only to come out and continue the same behavior. Thank you for getting the word out that he is back.”

“He needs to be put away for good!” her post concluded.

Social media is more worried about what he will say when his cellmates ask him what he is in for

“It’s totally me, lol, or like a dog sniffing another dog when they’re saying hello. He just wanted to say hi,” another said.

“My cat does this to me while I’m peeing. I’m going to register him,” remarked a pet owner.

One netizen tried to imagine his fellow convicts asking, “Why he is in” and how the answer, “Smelling farts” would go down.
