What if superheroes and other iconic pop culture characters were taken out of their usual storylines and put into more humorous, random, and sometimes completely absurd situations? If you’ve ever wondered what that might look like, the artist behind 'Pudinawala Comics' is here to give you an idea.
We’ve previously featured the cartoonist’s takes on movies, games, TV shows, and everyday life, and now we’re back with a fresh collection, this time featuring some of the famous characters most of us know and love.
The references may be familiar, but the punchlines rarely go where you expect them to. Scroll down to check out the artist’s latest comics and enjoy this playful universe where pop culture meets everyday problems. So, without further ado, let’s scroll down and have a laugh together!

2nd wish is a bottomless bottle of champagne. After drinking for a while Genie asks for 3rd wish. - "Make that another bottle".
This only works if you pronounce "Bophades" the same way that "Socrates" is pronounced. ("bofe-uh-dees" instead of "boh-fades" like my brain was saying it at first, which made no sense.) Yes, the joke is "bofe-uh-dees NUTS!"
Well, not wrong XD Wolvie's height is canonically 5'3" (160cm.)
This comic is referencing the game Palworld, which very, VERY clearly ripped off the Pokemon franchise and more or less copied most of the Pokemon designs and changed them very little. Nintendo's lawyers tried to stop Palworld from being released, but they failed. So the joke is that now they're sending in Pikachu, ostensibly the most famous Pokemon, to "do something" about Palworld XD
Referencing an ongoing joke in the Silent Hill games, where you can get bitten by a zombie or otherwise injured quite badly in the game, but if you consume a "Green Herb", you heal up and are just fine.
Tried to help explain some of the pop culture references that some people might not get depending on age and location/culture XD I know that sometimes kills the joke, though!
And I appreciate it very much! I've read enough X-man comics to get those, but haven't played most of the games (unless Pokemon Go counts as playing Pokemon, and I basically just walked around catching the little buggers, as any Gyms I encountered were already too high level for me to not get stomped flat).
