I Illustrated The Sad Tale Of My Two Cute Puppies Who I Sadly Won’t See Grow Up
I have adopted 2 cute stray puppies, my brother, and his girlfriend were co-parents as well, it was a huge responsibility, but we fell in love with them completely.
But life is cruel, a disease took them away from us, and this is my sad story, if you can’t handle it, please close the link. But before you do that, please read my desperate message first.
Because of the lack of knowledge and money, the man who rescued the stray dogs didn’t bring them to the vet for vaccination which caused the whole pack (9 adult dog and 6 puppies) to be infected with the Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) – it’s fatal. An adult dog has a 60% chance to survive, but a young puppy has only 10%.
They gave us two puppies without knowing they were infected. Even though, we soon discovered the symptoms and brought them to the vet clinic… it was too late.
In Vietnam, we are lacking pet care, animal shelter and disease control protocols, many sick stray dogs are roaming the streets. We really hope to have better solutions for them, but right now Animal rescue is spontaneous and disorganized.
This comic is my prayer for my puppies.

Share on FacebookThat's so painful :( Here is my little Daenerys. She fell ill when she was only 4 months. We tried to save her desperately, almost for a week we made her shots every hour. But she left us. The most heartbreaking thing was to feel utterly incapable of any help. She just looked at us sadly and asked not to leave her alone. I cried for months. And I'm crying now. So very sorry for anyone who mourns their furfriends IMG_201606...78c247.jpg
I'm so sorry for your loss :( Daenerys was adorable and she knew how much you loved her <3
Load More Replies...We adopted a beautiful kitty, and he died suddenly after 7 months. That was in 2016 and I STILL miss him so much. He was the quintessential cat that thinks their a dog. So our dog, who doesn't like cats, still got along with him. He was ornery as hell, too. Anyway, please take solace in knowing that those two fur babies knew true love, comfort, safety, etc. in their lifetime. There are so many animals out there that don't get that opportunity. Hugs!
Don't be sorry that you couldn't save them. It isn't your fault. Be glad that you brought love into their brief lives.
We adopted a stray kitten that wondered onto our porch and took him to the vet right away for shots and to make sure he was healthy. They said a few more days on his own and he would not have made it but aside from being malnourished and having fleas, he was given a clean bill of health. At close to 1 year, he started getting very sick. He was diagnosed with Feline Leukemia (luckily, all our cats were vaccinated so none of the others got it). We tried so many treatments and spent a lot of money trying to save him but it was not to be. I fell into a deep funk wondering why this had to happen to such a tiny sweet little guy. My husband made me feel much better by telling me that even with the sad outcome, Murphy got to know what love and home was before he died and he wouldn't have had that without us. Please think of that and know that you gave a wonderful gift to those pups for their time here on Earth.
I am so sorry for your loss. I know how you feel, one day you can’t imagine life without them and then they are gone. This post really hits home last year I lost two of my sweet loving cats to old age. May their memory and all the memories of all our lost animals remain in our hearts till the end of time.
