Customer Leaves A One-Star Review For Restaurant, Unluckily For Her, The Owner Remembers Her Too Well
666Kviews
Running a successful restaurant has become a whole lot more difficult in recent years, with a surge in competition meaning only the very best survive, and customer power at an all-time high.
One bad review online isn’t necessarily the end of the world, but if you know it’s unjust, that blemish on an otherwise flawless reputation can really get under your skin. Replying aggressively to obnoxious and entitled customers won’t do you any favors, so sometimes to best way to make a point is with polite restraint, while clearly stating your case and correcting the falsehoods in the review.
This response to a one-star review, shared by Imgur user ctrclub, is a perfect example of this. The restaurant and the customer are both unknown, save for the name ‘Monica,’ but if you run a business and encounter unfair reviews, this is a great example to learn from. I am very thankful for the other parents in the group that profusely apologized for your behaviour..."" is a very polite way of saying" You are a rude lowlife b!tch." And the owner is very right. I would ban her for life.

No need to use the word “bitch”. It’s quite sexist. She’s just an asshole.
How in the hell is bitch sexist? A man can be a bitch and so can a woman. It's a word get over it. And if you want to get technical it means female dog, so wouldn't it be an insult to any human being? Not everything in the world is sexist, racist, or culturally insensitive.

Eh, I'd say that the word bitch is primarily used as a derogatory word against women with the jump from female human to female dog being less of a leap than male human to female dog. Men are more often called a bitch if they are acting wimpy, cowardly, or classically feminine in a way that's supposed to be insulting. If Monica was instead Mike, the comment probably would have instead said "lowlife dick" or "lowlife asshole" as blugeagua said
Again it's a word to insult someone. By your terms calling "Mike" a dick would be sexist too. Or does that only apply to woman? It's sad that people have to worry about being sexist when insulting someone, and yes I feel weird defending someone calling someone out of name but again not everything has to be sexist, racist, or whatever. WTH is the world coming to? People need to grow up and stop be so damn sensitive.
This shows that almost everytime there are two sides of one story. I'm glad the manager painted the whole situation and stood up for his co-workers. People nowadays are taught to only demand and behave out of line, because there are no consequences. I was taught to treat other people the way I would like to be treated by them. If everyone followed that rule we would grow in a respectful society instead of demanding and bashing one.
That was a very gracious comment. Thank you, the world needs more people like you in it.
THIS. Exactly this. People seem to forget that those who serve them are also human beings with feelings. I can't fathom why people get a kick out of being horrible to others, I really don't.
Absolutely. The restaurant business is difficult enough without people who think the sun rises and sets out of their rectum. My family was in the business for years and my dad's rule was, "bend over backwards to give them what they want but, if they are still whining after you do that, show them the door and invite them to not return."
I was taught to treat other people the way I would like to be treated by them. Wow, absolutely brilliant comment, I like it a lot. It is in fact what I'm also telling others. I think you're a very pleasant and decent person.
But you are a person “nowadays.” That lady is probably close to you in age.
Leaving a 1 star review is just unacceptable.. People depend on reviews to keep business going. If your experience was that bad then take it up with the owners - who can then apologise sort out the issue and maybe issue refunds or compensation for something out of their control.
No one is forcing her to return there. And she probably would not get served anyway. Lol
I've given a couple of one star reviews for truly foul experiences. I've worked in restaurants, though, and the asshole quotient among customers is high. Americans don't know how to treat wait staff. They labour under the delusion that waiters are servants and that servants are there to be abused. The FACT is that waiters are employees who can make or break your experience of a restaurant and they are worthy of respect.
People like her need the fleas of a thousand camels to infest their underwear.
In this case I don’t wish I was Bob because I like this curse 😂
Sounds like something Klinger would have said on M*A*S*H
That's where it's from. Which doesn't mean it's not a brilliant curse.
This might be the worse curse I've ever read... Wow. :/

What is this quote from? It's going to bother me now. :P
Insted of thousand fleas, why not thousand bees!
'Cause the bees will only sting once - albeit with a Kardashian type bum as a result! ;-)
