“Sarcasm Only” sits at a wildly impressive 16.5 million followers on Instagram, so we wanted to reach out to learn more. Bored Panda got in touch with the page’s admins and they were kind enough to share some more details, starting with how it came to be in the first place.

“I started the page with my brother, Xavi, almost 13 years ago, back when memes were just starting to take off. He already had some experience in the space before Sarcasm Only, and when I saw what he was doing, I immediately felt there was a need for something geared toward girls/ women. At the time, I was in high school and had just started using Instagram myself.”

Given its massive popularity, we were curious to hear their thoughts on how it became so popular. “We are always up to date with what is happening in the world, specifically when it comes to pop-culture/trends. We have also grown with our audience. We often get people telling us that they have been following us for over 10 years and they love seeing our content. We post stuff that our viewers want to see and always take their feedback into consideration when posting the next thing.”

They left us with some parting thoughts about the page and its fanbase. “The Sarcasm Only community is amazing, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us over the years.
