I had a psychic reading in 1990. She predicted something about sailing and going to the USA. To date, I've done neither. She did not, however, foresee that a couple of months later, my grandfather would d*e, my girlfriend's house would flood due to a burst pipe causing her to move in with me, we'd get engaged, and I'd lose my job. It's not the random successes that make these things real, it's the millions of misses that show it's nonsense. For a theory to be proven, it has to be repeatable, and happen more often than random chance.
