The tiger is an endangered animal species, known to be an excellent predator and the largest feline on the planet, capable of reaching 300 kg

Siberia’s tigers, also known as Amur tigers, are the largest subspecies of the great cats of Asia.

By the 1940s, hunting had driven the Amur tiger to the brink of extinction—with no more than 40 individuals remaining in the wild. The subspecies was saved when Russia became the first country in the world to grant the tiger full protection.

Today there are an estimated 450 Amur tigers in the wild
