Our health care system changed in the 1980’s. To make money the highlight not the patient. This backwards thinking has killed thousands who are denied care because of their financial status. It has caused endless pain and suffering as well
The main goal of my illustrations is first to cause a reaction in the viewer, but most importantly, to make the person think about the different issues depicted and ask themselves difficult questions. They don’t have to agree with it, but if it can inspire some people or some change, it’s already a win!

Fair enough. Perhaps "fatigue" or "burnout" would have been a better descriptor. Can't deny, though, that this pandemic-- or, more importantly, how it's being mishandled on several fronts-- isn't doing anyone's mental wellbeing any good.

I studied architecture, but I decided to follow my passion and become an illustrator/cartoonist. I’m a self-learned artist, I had no formal training so it was (and it’s still) a long process of discovering and improving myself and my work. As a child, I was an avid reader of comic books, especially European ones. Visual storytelling has always fascinated me and I got into art naturally. I started drawing for fun and it developed over the years into working professionally as an illustrator.

Germany is shutting down it's Nuclear Reactors (decision was made after the Desaster in Japan). If my information is correct, we have only 6 left (the US has 95) now and they were going to be shut down in 2022 at the latest. Not sure if the timeline still stands with corona and it's consequences.

It’s not in our hands. I don’t think it can be reversed at this point. Not that we shouldn’t try but the way we over consume and everything we use as an energy source cannot be tamed. And honestly there is not a clean energy solution that doesn’t eventually use almost as much dirty energy. Yes people even wind turbines don’t work when there is no wind and solar panels when there is no sun and biomass when there is no product. We have to use dirty energy when those fail. Greta thornburg however you spell it... you keep doing your thing but I’m afraid it will take a miracle to stop everyone from using things that make their life comfortable

When I was a butcher fresh out of high school we would sell our bone barrels which consisted of meat, fat, bone, gristle, and innards like heart and intestines to make up companies not only that I’m sure there’s a lot more chemicals they put in them. I don't know why you're being downvoted. Can you imagine the fuss if a man was taken into a manager's office and told to wear make-up, or more uncomfortable shoes, or a more tightly fitting outfit on the pretext of looking more 'professional'? If we're going to get serious about saving this planet then there is some stuff that we're going to have to learn to do without, or at least with much less of, and make-up seems like really low hanging fruit. So much of it gets tipped straight into the trash without ever being used, and most of it is vastly outweighed by the packaging materials even if every last drop gets used.

I have plenty of health nuts in my family that always seem sick and my mother ate really healthy and had to have a bladder removed due to cancer. I say do what you can and eat what like because with your family history that you can’t change and all the chemicals in the air and in the products we daily use and or come into contact with if it’s gonna get you it’s gonna get you. Try not to worry and live in the now

Tourism? I have been many places that were beautiful and stayed a week without paying thousands of dollars. And most of the fun ones were roughing in in free areas especially with no cell service. If you live outside your means this seems legit. But if you cant afford to buy a plane ticket and housing along with food to say Tahiti or something than don’t spend $10,000 dollars on a trip and blame tourism. Your just a broke MF

Agree BUT for those who do care, in the world we're living in today, you mentally and emotionally can't carry the weight of all the issues we have going on right now AND still maintain a stable mind. Sometimes you have to tune out until you can take action. And then you have the guilt of figuring which action to take because you can't do it all and you don't have the space to care about every issue.

Fruitless cause - they get help from all over the world since decades but nothing changed. I may sound heartless, but as long as those nations and people don't learn how to help themselves nothing will change. And I admit that I would rather donate for animals than for humans
