Artist Preserves The Beauty Of Nature In Pressed Glass Jewelry
Love nature? Can’t get enough of it? Then good news, because Russian jewelry designer Stanislava Korobkova has created these beautiful vintage-style pendants that each contain its own little piece of mother nature.
The Dublin-based designer uses tiny plant leaves and beautiful flowers that she finds in the Irish wilderness. She inserts the dried and pressed flowers between delicate little windows of glass before sealing them with metal. It’s the same technique used to make Tiffany lamps, and as you can see from the pictures below, her handmade jewelry is nothing short of enchanting.
“I think nature already created amazing and beautiful things,” writes Stanislava on Etsy. “All I should do is make a proper glass jewelry frame for them and save this beauty for years.”
This unique jewelry is available to buy on Etsy.

Double standards at their best...falsely accuses an artist of animal cruelty and at the same time promotes cheap Chinese jewelry (for 1$ you can be sure that there is cruelty involved in some way, shape or form...) because she "would rather have a few necklaces than one for $40". It is jewelry. and given the time, materials and dedication to produce it $40 isn't expensive at all.
