Have you ever dreamt about becoming somebody else? Brazilian photographer Camila Fontenele de Miranda clearly did. Artist, based in Sorocaba, launched the project “Everyone Can Be Frida” back in 2012. It pays tribute to Mexican painter Frida Kahlo (who is best known for her self-portraits) and features staged photos taken especially for the project, as well as images from public interventions where people posed for the photographer in various events.

The project of the young artist has been highly successful in Brazil and has recently been presented in Italy, at Unusual Art Gallery of Caserta. The photo gallery of the project is updated almost every week, so you can find thousands of unique Fridas on the official “Everyone Can Be Frida” webpage and social media profiles.
