Someone Pretended To Be Tom Cruise In A Small Chicken Shop In North Eastern Thailand And Is Remembered There Forever
If you’ve ever seen Tom Cruise in person you’d know that he’s really, really short. Jarringly short. Amazingly tiny. Itsy-bitsy adult male. But enough about that small-fry.
Tom cruise?? The guy looks like his 30 max? This list made me laugh so much ands I’m so curious what the ‘not celebrity people’ are thinking when ransoms act crazy and ask to take pictures🤣😂 it’s a funny story for them to tell their friends.

They should title this celebrity beer goggles. How drunk are these people? Kudos to those who went with it just so when they show people the picture they get teased.
There's a rare condition where people are completely unable to recognize faces, but I suspect that quite a few people have a similar, borderline condition.
First rule of celebrities...they don't need to dress in character...unless they're at a children's hospital to cheer up the kids. So if you see "Top Gun" Tom or "Jack Sparrow" Johnny on the street in full costume, it's not them.
Can you imagine being one of these misidentified people? The whole time you're thinking to yourself, wtf, but I don't want to spoil their fun. Lets just go with it.
Or... "no, sorry I'm just a doppelganger I guess." Better than their fun being ruined when they are embarrassed all over the internet.
Load More Replies...Andy Kaufman worked one day a week as a busboy at Jerry's Famous Deli to keep himself grounded. When people would say he looked like Andy Kaufman he would respond " Yeah I get that all the time. "
I used to get mistaken for a celebrity all the time - as in getting meals comped at restaurants, getting let into clubs, etc. I always said I wasn't this celebrity and no one ever believed it. When you say you're not them, people just think you're being an a*****e and trying to get out of signing an autograph or taking a photo. It's easier to play along.
There are people who desperately try to look like others just to be mistaken for them, kind of sad.
my brother got this attention years ago because he looked like drew carey. dudes at the mall went crazy wanting his pic
Decided to look at the pictures first and see if I could spot someone who looked like a celebrity, mostly nope.
Many years ago I dated a guy who was a dead ringer for John Cusack. People used to ask him if he was John Cusack constantly. His resemblance was uncanny—the difference was John’s face was a little longer. He insisted he didn’t look like Cusack until he saw him filming in real life (in NYC), and then he was like “holy schnikes, I do”
Why are people on Bored Panda so toxic about this? It's really not that serious and most of these people were actually having fun. Yes some may have believed they met a celebrity when they didn't actually but bear in mind not everyone knows every celebrity so for the moment it's just the recollection of what they remembered that person may have looked like. And they might post it even after they realize those people aren't who they thought they'd be. Because, really, it's just silly and fun. Especially when it's obvious someone isn't that person, the more fun it is because you can see that small resemblance but know it's not that person. Why do you guys take a joke so seriously. You don't even know the circumstances. Like come on the Ed Sheeran post was definitely a joke but you were still like "how drunk these people? How can they be so stupid?". Bruh
I think because ultimately if you let someone believe you’re a famous person, and then they go and post about it on social media, or worse their business page (like the distillery) you’re opening up that person to ridicule and embarrassment, and that’s really not very kind or even funny. But some are worse than others, like Ed Sheeran isn’t as bad as the Mindy Kaling one.
Load More Replies...That was painful. One time I saw Chad Kroeger at the Annapolis mall. I was with my cousin. We were not sure it was him and the mall was dead empty. We ran to Sam Goody's, bought a Nickelback CD and followed him and his girlfriend around holding up the album and squinting. Still not sure.
I wonder how many people (women mostly) have done/offered "adult connection" to people they think r celebrities, only to find out later that they aren't?!
