Done this to a neighbour before. They were the type who had loud parties on a Saturday night, music so loud that it would keep me awake until 4am. They knew I worked Sunday mornings. I asked them to keep it down but nope. Well, my bedroom was next to theirs and I had a decent stereo system (but unlike them I had manners and used it quietly)... I sat on the sofa downstairs around 5 am one day, having an early breakfast and watching tv, while they tried to get to sleep with Black Sabbath playing on repeat at window rattling volume for about an hour, speakers aimed directly at their bedroom wall. I like to think that with their late night and hopefully their hangovers starting to kick in (they liked a drink...) it made it extra annoying. Funnily enough, their music was turned down or shut off completely around midnight after that. And no, no other neighbours suffered as it was a semi detached house so a decent space between us and the other houses.

I actually think this one of the worst things that someone has had done to them here. He might not have physically hurt her and there are objectively worse things to do to someone but going out of your way to regularly take a bit of joy from someone's life for no other reason than the fact he could (and I probably enjoyed it) is pretty evil.

Story time. Hired for major new project, company branching out, I had experience. Cross country move, never out in project. Three months in, manager quit. I ended up running the office, while they hired one, then two, then three other people for project. I did all quotes, and billing for their entire business other than project. I automated the billing with a script. Took it from a day and a half to 3 hours. After a year, they announced that one of the people running the project was to be made permanent manager. I was instructed to train him. I quit rather than train him. I did leave the software but no one knew it even existed, much less knew how to set it up.

Was sitting in a beach side restaurant on holiday, eating my meal and chatting to the waiter at one of the beach view tables, when a family of three walk in, led by an entitled mother. The waiter tried to slow her to an empty table further back but she just looked over to where I was sat, and announced "we'll have her table when she moves", while glaring at me as though I was going to just finish my drink and leave because she said so. Um, no you won't, lady. The waiter smiles, rolls his eyes and tells me not to rush, then goes to try and fend her off. Guess who ignored her while enjoying a very slowly-eaten dessert and couple more cocktails while she stood there, staring... Unfortunately a table next to mine emptied for her about 45 minutes later, so my fun in making her wait was ruined. Just because I travel on my own, doesn't mean I have any less right to a decent table and enjoying my meal in peace. She didn't target any of the couples or groups seated, just me.

I hate it when people refuse to learn someone's name pronunciation or spelling. It's disrespectful. I used to work at a company where part of our team was in China. The company casually gave the Chinese employees Western names (like Eric, Jane, etc) because "their real names are too difficult to pronounce". I was furious and once asked if anyone ever thought that those Chinese people find our names difficult to pronounce? No reply to that. Mind you, it was a translation company...

I don't know if it is real, but there are videos on the internet where dummy packages are delivered to/ left at properties in areas where there has been a lot of theft.
