“Period Piece” is a short form comedic web series about women having their periods throughout history. We hope this show will help de-stigmatize menstruation, helping girls feel pride in what their bodies can do. The content is relatable, so girls will also be able to laugh and talk about their periods in a fun way. Men will also be able to appreciate the humour, and hopefully feel more comfortable with something that has often been a mystery to them.
Everyone can benefit from the show, and hopefully, everyone can laugh watching it. Watch all 7 episodes below!

Good to see this handled with a little humor, instead of trying to sell stuff and make women feel their menses are something to go into denial over.
All of these people seemed relatively calm compared to me when I have cramps....:(
I'm thinking..... Thank the Universe for early Menopause!! Haven't had a period in 12 years (stopped at age 42)... and don't miss it at all, lol.
PS - I also lucked out in the menopause department. The only noticeable difference - besides the lack of cramps, money saved on feminine products, etc. - was the occasional hot flash. I didn't become a raving lunatic. I didn't get weepy. I didn't fly into unprovoked rages. (Actually - I did most of those things when I WAS getting my period, along with the cramps, bloating, and general feeling like I would die at any moment... PMS was a nemesis that lasted 2 weeks of every month!!) I was never so happy for a sign of aging as I was when I realized I hadn't had a period in more than 2 months - and since I was single at the time, I knew there could only be one reason for the stoppage. I was so thrilled I wanted to throw a party, lol.
I still get hot flashes occasionally, even though it's been 12 years. But I recognize them, and they rarely last more than a few minutes. Compared to what I went through for 30 years with the PMS and the period itself, menopause has been a piece of cake. Heck, I used to get so sick between cramps, nausea and even diarrhea that I'd have to call off from work at least one or two days every month. Plus, I had more outfits & unmentionables ruined because I'd bleed like I ruptured an artery! In fact, by the time I was 35, I'd taken to wearing incontinence underwear for my period - I bled that much!! The week before was the emotional roller coaster, then the first 3-4 days of bleeding were a physical nightmare every month I'd be curled in a ball in my bed, rocking back and forth, and crying my eyes out from the pain alone. NONE of the PMS meds ever worked on me. The one thing that helped some was Advil, which I would take 6 at a time, every 3 hours - that was how I survived.
