My mom used to work for a company that, back when front car grills were made of heavy duty metal, punch pressed the front grills for GM automobiles. Of course there were always round pieces left over from the punching out for the front lights. For my mom and dad's 7th wedding anniversary she got one of the plant guys to polish one up and engrave that it was a well deserved medal for putting up with her for 7 years. He happily, lovingly put up with her for 48 years and passed away. 9 years later he came back to be with her until it was time to hold hands and go off together into forever.

The photos of the older couples really got to me. I've been married for 33 years, and even though I feel the same mentally, I can see the passage of time in each of our faces. I know nothing lasts forever. All I can say is one lifetime with him is not enough.

Havent had a single doubt in the past 8 years and im happy to be married to one of the most sweet l, reliable and innocent men in existence. Gotta get used to the new last name tho
