I know someone like this and I absolutely hate them. I don't want to ever invite them for anything but I gotta since that would mean singling them out. as a student, I actually hate this. Its bad enough we are told to go during too short class changes, and given a limited number of passes, now they're shaming kids for using the restroom?!?! Many kids, including myself, are athletes and need to drink a lot of water, but be sure it's so hard to get a pass, I've developed really bad habits about hydration. what the heck.

I was one of those wee ones who peed her pants because she was afraid to interrupt the line, Thankfully I had a cool teacher who mentioned the roof must have been leaking on a sunny day and got me to the nurses room. I was 9......it was 50 years ago and I'm still mortified.

Many students who claim to need to go to the toilet are actually doing other things. The phone age makes it easy for them to coordinate their nefarious meetings. Also, in our school, the kids get at least five chances every day to go. I understand emergency situations, but for most it's a work avoidance strategy. Encourage this behaviour and imagine the employees of the future.

That's one aspect of school that is completely overstated. Oh, and the stupid no hats rule. Twenty years later and I'm still shaking my head at that one. I was a kid with a slow gait, I couldn't run at all, so sometimes it took me more than five minutes to walk between classes. My high school was as big as an indoor shopping mall. More than once teachers locked their doors so late students couldn't come into the classroom until after their lessons had begun. I absolutely hated it.

My French teacher makes us wait until the end of class to go to the bathroom because she thinks we can control out bodily functions. It doesn’t help that it’s the last class of the day and most of us need to catch a bus.
