“And This Is Why We Were Asked To Leave”: 40 Times People Took Their Photos With Statues To Another Level
From the Statue of Liberty to Christ the Redeemer, there are many sculptures on top of travelers’ bucket lists. Some represent cultural wonders, others mark local heroes and commemorate historical events. They inevitably end up in our holiday photographs, standing tall and straight, as if time stood still for them.
People, however, are not always very serious when it comes to taking a pic with a statue, and some are clearly making entertainment of its own accord. In fact, there’s a whole Twitter page dedicated to people messing around with statues and sculptures called “Funny Statue.”

I know this is fun and all but we really need to think before doing stuff like this. A lot of statues and natural park sites get damaged by people doing things like this. So if you have to clime or even touch the thing to get your photo, just don't take the chance.

I liked ones where people don't climb or hang on them. Yeah maybe it is robust enough, but it is disrespectful. You can be creative and funny and still respect your environment.

Near me with have this statue. Every time the council remove the cone another one appears. It is like the locals get annoyed if it is not there! 1275684531...a1e029.jpg
