My name is Erin and I am a self taught artist. I use many mediums, including acrylic, wood burning, resin and glass. I have really taken off with my acrylic paintings with glass embellishments. Much of the glass is recycled, even provided by local shops, where I then break and crush it myself. I can use the recycled glass as part of my art versus having the glass thrown away. Some have said that the glass in my ocean pieces represents all the glass and trash that our oceans are currently filled with. I’ve chosen to make beautiful art with pieces (or trash) others would’ve just thrown away.
