My name is Evan Stoler and I’m a multiples artist. I participated in the 30x30x30 exhibition at Var Gallery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin that challenged 30 artists to make one 6″ x 6″ piece of art every day for the month of January.

I focused on deconstructing and reconstructing items found in an office, with emphasis on texture, pattern, and movement. The show will be open to the public until May 25th.

Love the textures and patterns. That hole punch one must've taken ages! Great work!

Entirely fascinating: The brads look like a small musical instrument & the hole punch one appears to even be convex (curving outward) - amazed!?!

The textures are really cool to look at. The glue piece really spoke to the second grader in me....I always was fascinated with the glue "cap" that dried over the top of the Elmer's bottle.

Love this, but serious question, what are tape cores? Never heard of them in my life. Although they do look a bit like calamari!

so with a normal scotch tape dispenser that you buy in packs, when you run out of tape you just have that plastic ring where the tape used to be that you can remove from prongs attached to the outside plastic container that keeps it in place
