This Halloween I decided to do a little photo shoot with the boys. We’re not into the horror and gore, but we like superheroes.
The boys have been excited about this shoot for a long time. We had kind of an idea of what we wanted. Back ally and stormy weather.
For the first time ever I was hoping for rain during our little photo shoot. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect environment. Awesome back ally and perfect stormy weather. It wasn’t full on pouring down rain, but just enough to look cool! We didn’t have much time since the boys wanted to go out trick-or-treating.
I used a Sony a7III with a Sigma 135mm f1.8 Art lens and I put a flash behind them to create that rim light and the flash of light behind Batman’s leg.
Overall, we are thrilled with the final results and the boys were ecstatic!
If you would like to learn some about photography, I have tips and tricks and a free photography course on my website. Also, follow me on social media to see more of my work.
