My name is James Meaney, and I am one of many 9-5 workers living in Glasgow.

I have always had a keen interest in photography art, but this street photography interest has grown substantially over the last couple of years.

Approximately two years ago, I had health concerns that I was struggling to deal with, and this lead to me making the jump from a casual shooter on my iPhone to purchasing my first DSLR. This has been one of the best lifestyle choices I have ever made, even if only from a health point of view.

Wandering around my beautiful city, seeing it through my camera, gave me the escape that I needed, and now barely leaves my side. The feeling of capturing cool photos of the views many people see every day and allowing them to see it the way I do is something I appreciate more and more.

Glasgow is a wonderful, big city, with many things to see and experience, and I hope you enjoy my pictures as much as I do taking them.
