My name is James Meaney, and I am one of many 9-5 workers living in Glasgow.

I have always had a keen interest in photography, but this interest has grown substantially over the last couple of years.

Approximately two years ago I had health concerns that I was struggling to deal with, and this lead to me making the jump from casual shooter on my iPhone to purchasing my first DSLR. This has been one of the best decisions I have ever made, even if only from a health point of view.

Wandering around my city, seeing it through my camera, gave me the escape that I needed, and now barely leaves my side. The feeling of capturing views many people see every day and allowing them to see it the way I do, is something I appreciate more and more.

Glasgow is a wonderful city, with many things to see and experience, and I hope you enjoy my pictures as much as I do taking them.
