Hello world, I, myself, love animals. And if I had a pet, I’d want nothing more for him than the very best life he could have. And what correlates to a good life for a pet is what we buy for them, we only want the best things for them. But is Gucci the best thing they need? I’m sure a regular old carrier is as good as a Gucci one, right? But hey, got a lot of money, pets, and rich friends? Then look no further as your pet will be the snazziest animal on the block with these incredibly expensive items. While they get free promotion, you get a read you’ll forget in 3 minutes, win-win!

Y’know, usually my fellow BoredPanda writers would bring a special guest to talk about something like this, but I have no time for that, so get reading!

Gucci has expanded the brand for our furry, scaley, and feathered friends

Gucci is an iconic Italian brand that sells expensive clothing and such to wealthy people that want some snazzy outfits and a big G branded across them, but recently they’ve decided to show all living creatures a taste of Italy with their brand-new pet line. (Please wait for their plant line, including Gucci brand pots and watering cans.) But unlike us, they don’t just get clothes, they get accessories and home furnishings too! So, if you happen to be an incredibly rich person with a pet who’s reading this article, then keep reading to see what they’ve got!

Why should only humans dress expensively? Give your dog an amazing wardrobe with these pet clothes

Look at that purple coat, it has zippers, colors, it’s amazing! Oh, it’s $880… money well spent, right?

Right?

Admittedly adorable strawberry shirt and hat ensemble ($460 Each)

Look at that hat, look at that shirt, ya know, if I wasn’t spending $920 dollars on it, I’d buy it. And, I will admit, these clothes look spacious and free, not extremely tight and constricting like other clothes, so that’s a plus. Besides, Gucci says “Fruits have appeared throughout the Gucci narrative as an ode to the whimsical spirit that shapes its designs.”, so there’s a meaning behind it.

Odd-looking hat and shirt, ($380 for the hat, $650 for the shirt)

Want your guests to think there is a mutated bunch of cotton candy walking on the floor? Then buy this hat and shirt. However, it does look quite warm, maybe for a hairless dog in the winter? Either way, the dog is cute, which is what matters in the end.

(Sorry for the bad quality folks, the image was too narrow originally.)

Pet Homeware is on another level, let’s start with this regal looking bowl ($565)

I don’t even know what to put here, it’s a bowl, folks!

Don’t forget about the cover for the bowl ($895)

Why does the cover cost more than the bowl itself? I assume it’s the strawberry on top, but if you hate berries, they also have a pear and pumpkin variant.

How about this Waste Bag? ($460)

Picture this, you’re strolling Beverly Hills when your dog needs to answer the call of nature, but then, as you go to pick the poop up, you realize you have an ordinary brown paper bag, OH NO! The passerby begins to ridicule your boring, cheap, run of the mill bag. Even stupid Donna from across the street is using this to brag, about how she’ll NEVER use such a cheap item to pick up her dog’s poop. But never fear! The days of hideous peasant paper bags are over, it’s time for some REAL style. Gucci has supplied us with this beautiful “waste bag holder” made of leather. Now, as Donna strolls over you can show that woman that you have the best poop bag in the town. But don’t worry, the dog collars and leashes have matching designs. All for the humble cost of $460!

Or how about this Air Tag Holder? ($220)

Once the dog-napper catches a glimpse of your “Hibiscus Red Demetra” air tag holder, they will realize the house they napped the dog from is a rich person’s house and will go to steal more of your rich person stuff. Okay, maybe I’m being harsh, but this just seems a tad too expensive.

My favorite of the line, the couches. (A whooping $7,500)

These couches cost more than a normal couch, but that’s for us low incomers, the rich people get to revel in their tiny couches and so will their pets as they lay in the box the couch came in instead of the couch itself.

And of course, they have pet carriers too. ($3,650)

This is the small one, I shudder to think about the cost of the large one, which was 4,000 something.

We’re reaching the end, folks

Well, that was an experience. Who knows what will be next in Gucci’s line, but whatever it is, if it’s related to animals, I’ll be at the forefront to poke fun at it. Of course, I mean it all harmlessly, if buying expensive poop bags makes you happy then who am I to judge? But I only scratched the surface of Gucci’s pet line, so, why don’t you copy and paste this link: https://www.gucci.com/us/en/st/capsule/gucci-pet-collection and go look through the collection yourself! Bye, and remember, Conservation is Key.
