Artist Illustrates All The Struggles She Runs Into In Her Daily Life In Fun And Quirky Comics (35 New Pics)
Interview With Artist
Akshara Ashok is an Indian illustrator who is known for creating humorous comics that highlight the common struggles and challenges faced by women in their daily lives. From poking fun at period jokes to addressing body image issues, Akshara's illustrations aim to break taboos and challenge stereotypes surrounding women and their experiences.
Having initially pursued a degree in architecture, Akshara discovered her love for illustration in her third year of college and has since turned it into a full-time career. While her work often touches upon sensitive and serious issues such as mental health and gender equality, Akshara's simple and cute style keeps her illustrations light-hearted and relatable. Through her work, she hopes to spark important conversations and make people feel less alone in their experiences.

The truth is some women probably do want someone who can give them luxury items AND some women don't care about money and just want someone who understands them. Not to mention all the women who don't want or need boyfriendos at all. Women aren't a binary group, they're complicated and individuals.

I pack in a way that it's really easy to process afterwards. You keep folded, ready to restore to cupboard clothing on one side. Dirty inside a plastic bag, shoes in a plastic bag, only take 1 pair shoes, and cosmetics etc., in a separate bag. Result: unpack folded clothes, empty shopping bags into laundry basket, move cosmetics bag back to the bathroom where it normally sits. Done in like 1 minute.

We have learned to have separate blankets so that I can cocoon myself and he can still have one.

Enough with the idiotic censorship BoredPanda. It is beyond stupid now and you are ruining the artist's work. Do you honestly think that censorship of a cute cartoon is alright? Whose delicate sensibilities are you trying to "protect."

Look in mirror before leaving for work, looks fine. Look in mirror at work, how did someone manage to comb mayonnaise through my hair without me noticing

So he's eating a pizza in front of her and not sharing? Or is she just trying to confirm to society's rule that women aren't allowed to be hungry? It's rather ambiguous, as he has a plate and she doesn't.

ENOUGH WITH THECENSORSHIP BOREDPANDA! The censorship on this site has gotten to the point where is it bordering on crazy. First you censor the word a*s and now you are censoring a cartoon boob and bottom? Is a female cartoon body "dangerous" and revolting? What are you trying to prove with the censorship on this site?!The whole point of some of the artist's comics was to show themselves being comfortable in their bodies and you ruin the impact by censorship. Please stop it. If people are that offended by a cartoon bottom or breast they really should not be on the Internet.
