Cruel Man Starves Husky As Revenge On His Wife That Divorced Him, The Dog Undergoes Amazing Transformation After Being Rescued
Sometimes relationships go wrong, but the worst part of it is when innocent animals are involved. Especially when animals end up being the ones who take the blame from their owners. This innocent husky was tied to a chain for almost 2 years without access to proper water or shelter—all because his previous owner couldn’t take revenge on his ex-wife, so he picked their dog.

His previous owner got him when he was just a puppy as a gift for his wife. However, not long after, she filed for divorce, so the husband decided to take his revenge on the puppy. He quit feeding him, tied him to a chain, and left him to die. When he was found by animal rights activists, he was just a bag of bones with barely any fur on him.

They took him to Pet Angels Rescue in Oklahoma

Once they got him into a car, he did not resist, but slept for 2 hours all the way back to the shelter. They were really surprised by his strength, because as someone who had barely walked for 2 years, he was ready to go when they took the leash. However, he still had some health issues that needed to be addressed—he was severely emaciated and suffering from parasites and mange.
He was given proper medical care

With good care and love, he recovered fast, gained weight, and grew back his fur

The good people from Pet Angels Rescue of Oklahoma took very good care of him and he recovered fast. He was given the name Finn and started to change before their eyes. Not only did he become a happier dog, but he also gained a lot of weight. When they got him from his previous home, he weighed around 40 pounds, and now he’s a healthy, 80-pound dog! Also, little by little, his fur grew back.
He even found loving and caring owners who welcomed him into their family

His new owners came to see him very early on in his recovery. They’ve supported and been incredible to him, giving him the best life. After all his struggles when he was a puppy, he didn’t give up and is a loving, friendly, and forgiving dog who reminds everyone that your past doesn’t define you.

I think it will continue until they really can be sent to prison. I would prefer that they received the exact same treatment that they did to the poor defenseless animal. That is the only fair way to punish these horrible people! Otherwise it will continue to happen. I don't hate people normally, but I truly hate these people with a passion!

need to prosecute this man! my heart broke bc i relate. left my husband & went into battered woman's shelter so couldn't take my dobie w/me. we had two, max (which was 'his', and trixie, who was mine). i knew he resented her bc when he would get violent w/me trixie wouldn't go after him but get between us & try to keep him away. obviously, divorced him & trixie was awarded to me. when i returned to family's home i met w/some friends who had a farm. i wanted trixie back so i asked if they knew where he was so he could be served & i could get her. they didn't know. they told me that he asked if he could visit & bring his dog. sure, they said. when he got there he got trixie out of the car, walked along with them for a bit & before they could stop him, he shot her. they were shocked. then he asked if he could bury her out there but they said they would do it. they put her under a tree by their little stream & offered to take me to her but i couldn't do it. can forgive anything but this.

I hope one day, the US will adopt the animal laws of the UK. The Animal Welfare Act 2006: The 2006 Act introduced tougher penalties for neglect and cruelty, including fines of up to £20,000 (approx $26,000 USD), a maximum jail term of 51 weeks and a lifetime ban on some owners keeping pets. Enforcers of the act such as the police or local authority inspectors (but not organisations such as the RSPCA) have more powers to intervene if they suspect a pet is being neglected. That way, this piece of c**p would be serving time and out a whole lot of money!

I know there's a happy ending (thank god) but I wish I hadn't read this story. I just don't understand how or why someone would do this. It's made me so sad. I'm glad the puppy is safe and well with a loving family - that's the least he deserves. He looks happy and beautiful. Have the best life Finn! X

So glad he found a loving home after everything he went through. It's about time people realised animals feel and suffer the same as humans do but there's still too many who bare the brunt of cruel and selfish humans. A dog can't beg for help but that doesn't mean they don't deserve the same respect and care as any human.

I believe that whatever cruel act a human does to an animal, ANY animal, they should have that same act done to them x10. PLEAZS tie this POS to a tree, starve him and then taunt him with food. What a WONDERFUL story. That husky, Finn never gave up & now he has a wonderful life, with people who love him! Animal abuse laws should be tougher. Some people get away with it, with just a slap on the hand! Not fair!!

The real thing we all want to know is the owner getting major charges for what he did to the dog. We all know the dog is awesome but what we all really want to know is what comeuppance the owner got. Always include that with these kinds of stories

I believe that whatever cruel act a human does to an animal, ANY animal, they should have that same act done to them x10. PLEAZS tie this POS to a tree, starve him and then taunt him with food. When he begs for food or acts hungry in any way, then he gets beat with a razor strap repeatedly. In fact, beat him just for shits and giggles. Then when he's on the verge of dying it wouldn't happen because his torture would be prolonged and prolonged. People like him are why I am always so disgusted with humans. We are the monster race. This guy needs to be tied to a tree and starved so he knows what it's like. I don't care that his wife left him, he had no right to take out his anger on this poor dog. I am happy that this dog has good new owners and is doing much better.
