I created a self-portrait project about dealing with myself, because sometimes living with myself is not easy. Sometimes it really annoys me. Sometimes I wonder about myself. And sometimes I feel completely at peace.
The series has a humourous smack, but the basic concept is serious. I think everyone knows these feelings when one doesn’t want to know him oder herself – and makes friends with oneself again, later.
I started the series in order to train my abilities in Photoshop and to learn the skills of composing. But in the end I’ve learned so much more about myself. This way “Me and myself“ has become a very honest series.
