Maritime Restoration Projects Currently Undertaken By Volunteers Of Sydney Heritage Fleet
Sydney Heritage Fleet comprises 10 historical vessels which is amongst the largest such collection in Australia if not the World. It has also a number of restoration projects currently underway. Much of the work is carried out by volunteers, using traditional trade methods and materials which are no longer in daily use.
In order to share the wonderful history of the ship and showcase the hard work continually being undertaken at our Heritage Docks & Workshop in Rozelle Bay, we have released a collection of photos taken from one of our members, Birgit Neiser, professional photographer. These photos were mainly taken between 2008 and 2011 and provides a glimpse into the life down at Rozelle Bay. Every purchase of an image supports Sydney Heritage Fleet, so please enjoy them and contribute by taking a part of its history home to enjoy as a print.
