When I see someone with the full glamour makeup, I don't see the person underneath, I see the glamour look itself. Most of the women in this post would have looked far prettier (after the make over) with a half of the eye makeup and either a subtle lip liner or none.

As I get older I realize I like seeing people without makeup than with, imperfections and all. But the decision is theirs

Me too. It’s such a waste of money… when I get makeup as a gift from anymore it makes me think they think I’m ugly and need to fix my face. I only occasionally wear eyeliner and smidge of mascara every now and then. But have worn makeup for at least 2 years, and I use to do it almost everyday for 30 years, nothing like the girls and women do now… too many layers upon layers of makeup. Uhggggh makes me feel claustrophobic!!! But I spent no way near what some women spend on cosmetics… $25 a month tops, my self esteem is in tip-top shape. As my late Mother would say “I’m the bees knees!” (I miss hearing her say that to me)
