Drag Queen Is So Good At Makeup, She Can Transform Herself Into Any Celebrity Or Character (26 New Pics)
30Kviews
One of our favorite Drag Queens Alexis Stone is back on Bored Panda with some more amazing makeup transformations! She once again manages to turn herself into anything she wishes to. From horror characters to celebrities. A skill that many would envy. Let's face it, at some point in our lives, we wanted to look like someone else, at least for a little while.
Alexis's skills with makeup are amazing and sometimes even jaw-dropping. Not a lot of people, even professionals, can transform themselves into others using just makeup and wigs. Alexis doesn't photoshop the pictures to make herself look more like what she's portraying. It's all skill, experience, and a lot of time.

Mrs. Doubtfire
I watched some of the videos on Instagram and this isn't just makeup. There are full on prosthetics used. I agree that the transformation is amazing and she is a gifted makeup/special effects artist, but the article makes it seem like this is "just" makeup and it's misleading.
Kim Kardashian
Iggy Azalea

I'm thinking this must be Freddy from the remake, which I've not seen

So I can see what they're trying to accomplish with the brown shading, and in a lot of the images it does work, but it's too much and too strong a contrast on this one - I'm sorry but it really does look like a chin strap - I'm no artist but I think they could have softened/blurred the outline and dulled the colour a bit here - like the nose shadows! The rest of the look is so amazing and then this big, bold stripe like a leather belt - it just looks like they stopped bothering! Was the artist on a time limit? I love Ru Paul's Drag Race and I can imagine what she'd have to say about this ;)
Holly Willoughby
Robyn Konichiwa
Robyn Konichiwa? What? Her name is Robin Miriam Carlsson...
I don't think the author knows what a "Drag Queen" is. See, it's a man. A man, that dresses as a woman. To each his own, I don't care. But HE is not a SHE. So HE can do makeup and transform HIMSELF to anyone. And I'll give him credit, he does a great job. The first 2 are amazing but most of the rest are loose interpretations.
Came to say the same thing, kind of. A Drag Queen is a guy, who can be gay or straight who parades around dressed like a gal for fun and profit. Not the same as a trans-sexual. When I was a boy, our next door neighbor was a banker by day and a cabaret singer by night. He made mucho $$$.
@Elmie Pumpkinbush that is the definition of a drag queen.

That's funny, there's plenty of drag queens dressed at women. The hotel I was at once had a "drag queen" luncheon every once in awhile. Lots of men dressed like women.
@Elmie: Drag Queens are men dressing as women. Drag Kings are women dressing as men.

Maybe in your world but everywhere else drag queens are men who dress up as women in an over-the-top style
Calm down dude. You're just extremely biased so you are making extreme statements. Woman are 'shamed if not killed'. Where do you live? Probably not the US when you make such extreme statements.
A lot of drag queens use she/her when in drag.
Although he might be a drag queen those pictures aren't drag; as drag is not dressing simply as a women, but dressing in as a dramatic exaggeration of femininity.
It's surprising that woke panda fails here...
Some drag queens use she/her only when they are in drag, but I don't know of any that use she/her out of drag.
Please learn more about pronouns. Maybe the person uses she/her pronouns. You don't know.
They still go by both names regularly (Elliot and Alexis) and present themselves as both. As I understand drag queens, he is the person (and the makeup artist), and Alexis is the character, only female when she's in character. I'd be interested in hearing from them directly though. Someone spending significant time in character might feel genderfluid.
That makes sense, thank you!
Drag queens taken on female pronouns as part of their performance; but they cross dress for pleasure not because they have gender identity issue, so don't care about pronouns.
that is not always true
I was going to ask because I didnt think that drag queen is a orientation or gender
I think while in makeup/performing the usual address is she/her, while out of drag it is he/him. Probably flexible depending on the individual since it is an art form all about believing the fantasy.

I don't want to hate but I don't think you thought that sentence through.
I have no idea who most of these people are.
Hahaha same !
I was feeling totally out of the loop for not knowing these characters... The few I DO know? Nothing like what he made himself look like..
