It is a lamp where your mark becomes the source of light. It’s created by Tenzin Phuntsok, a Brooklyn based designer.

Lit is designed to fit 8.5″ x 11 paper so that you can trace anything that you can print. It can be used to trace, write messages or to make original art that lights up. The design of the frame hides the source of the light completely allowing light particles to escape only when you apply the chalk marker. It is pulls apart easily so that you can clean the glass thoroughly. You can also use it to hang pictures with magnets and draw on it to light up the pictures. The led stripes used in Lit Lamp has the capacity to outshine 25watt bulb. It is powered by a DC power adapter with a dimmer attached to the cord. It comes with stand that displays the main frame and hides the cord. Lit Lamp is currently in the fundraising phase. It will be available on Kickstarter on May 14, 2018 for a base price of $95.
