Let’s Celebrate Love With My Photography Project

Love is an amazing feeling. True love is also very difficult to find. Once you’ve met the person who rocks your world, gives you peace, makes you laugh, cries with you, and makes you feel like everything is okay in the world, you simply won’t let go. And why would you, love is simply love, no matter how it’s paired up.

I started the Love is Love Portrait Project on December 13th, 2013. At that moment, the country was starting to see change, a few states decided to make same-sex marriage legal and we all saw a big burst of light at the end of the big inequality tunnel. However, there were many people, and there still are, who think that same-sex couples are different, that what we are doing is wrong, and that our love is immoral etc. That’s when I decided to create a photographic sample of how love looks. Heterosexual and Homosexual love, turns out, looks very much the same.

My portraits showcase the beautiful feeling between two imperfect people who accept the good and the bad in each other and refuse to give up in the great magic that is love.
