New residents in ZOO Skopje who are adapting to the outside environment these days.

In the month of November, eight yellow-breasted capuchins (male group), as a donation from ZOO Alveterzoo Münster Germany, came to our Zoo.

All are between 2 and 8 years old and are housed in the habitat previously used by Mangabe monkeys. The habitat is made according to world standards according to the conditions and recommendations of EAZA and the zoo from where they arrived.

This type of monkey comes from South America and is mostly found in Eastern Brazil and is one of the most endangered species.

These monkeys are a very attractive South American species and we hope that visitors will enjoy them regularly and have fun with them.
