Life Finds A Way

I’m an English teacher and struggle to keep my head above water at this time of year as this is when we are getting kids ready for exams and preparing their work to be sent to the exam board. It’s a whole lot of work, none of it enjoyable. I’m often worse than my students for finding other distractions. Last yeae at this crazy time I took procrastinating to a whole new level when, instead of marking English folio essays, I decided to paint Dr Ian Malcolm in full topless recline on a stone. I even took time to pose him being nuzzled by one of my son’s toy dinosaurs. I felt like this was a far more fruitful use of my time.
