Kids have a way of seeing the world that’s completely unfiltered, and their drawings are proof of that. Whether it’s a slightly wonky giraffe, a six-legged dog, or something that makes absolutely no sense at all, children’s imagination knows no limits.

That’s exactly what inspired a dad from London, Tom Curtis, to take those wildly creative drawings and turn them into “real-life” versions. What started as a fun project with his own kids quickly grew into a viral series where adorable (and sometimes very questionable) doodles are transformed into surprisingly realistic, and often hilariously unsettling, creations.

Scroll down to see some of the latest recreations that prove kids’ imagination is both amazing… and a little bit terrifying.
