You can also find snakes and reptiles at the shelters, often people buy them without knowing anything about their needs, later dump them... Thanks for caring for this "danger noodle" (like another Panda calls him or her)!!!

If more people bred like her, we would have a huge population of very healthy bulldogs. If more did their research like I did, we might be able to put the bad breeders, in it just for profit instead of health, out of business. Reputable breeders are not the problem. Those, like my neighbors, who purchase from many Amish puppymills, and other backyard breeders, for cheaper dogs keep them in business. I've already argued with them because they intend on breeding the puppymill dogs opting not to health test them. We are no longer speaking.

Last September, she (Cinder) was behind my shed crying, frail and starving. I'm sorry she had to go through all that trauma, but I'm so happy I found her. She's helped me as much as I helped her.

I know. When I first found her, she could barely walk, I thought she wasn't going to survive. But, she may be a gentle sweet girl, but shes tough. I've really enjoyed watching her transform into her beautiful and weird self.

So many people adopted a pet during the pandemic, fortunately the shelters/rescues choose the new owners well enough, so that hopefully none of the pets´ll end up at the shelter again after the pandemic.

Even if probably not ALL of the pets of this post were adopted, some look like from breeders or maybe from a farm, my (c)attitude was and is always #AdoptDontShop. Even though we Germans do not have any kill shelters, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Australia do not have any either. But you make 2 lives happier if you adopt a pet. Your pet´s and your own one.
